WAPDA has Revised Its Recruitment Policy for the Induction of Junior Engineers.

Water and power development authority (WAPDA ) has revised its recruitment policy for Its upcoming jobs. Previously the policy for Induction for posts of BPS 17 was as follows:

Written test weightage: 70%

Interview weightage: 30%

Now the previous policy for recruitment is amended as follows:

Written test weightage: 50%

1st interview weightage:20%

2nd interview weightage: 30%

According to this new policy, a written test weightage is 50%. Passing marks for the written test is 50%.5 candidates per seat will be called for 1st interview. After 1st interview 2 candidates for each post will be called for the final interview. The final interview will be conducted by the higher authorities of WAPDA. After compiling all the marks final aggregate is made on the basis of which candidates are selected.

This time WAPDA is much more focused on interviews. This a golden opportunity for all those candidates having lower GPAs.As in DISCOS much weightage is given to academic scores i.e 40% CGPA in BS 40% written test and 20 % interview..
